Technology is a hundred year old invention. It has been used e.g. to produce egg cells. Plastic replaced the moulded pulps in the 60s and 70s and they were not  developed in decades.  We started to develop the technology fitting for the making of shaped moulded pulps. Currently we are the only industrial company in Scandinavia which has specialized in packaging. 

We are proud that we have been able to renew our factory equipment so that we can offer only the highest quality for the customers, but also protect our environment. All of our machinery in formation of production are less than 5 years old. We have also invested in a bio power plant which will start running during spring 2025.

Our advantage is that we design the moulded pulps that are used in the production by ourselves. By doing so we are able produce packages with challenging shapes. So, challenging packaging is our specialty. The manufacturing chain of the products is based on locally recycled paper. It is possible to recycle paper fibre seven times and even after that it can be used as an energy source.

Eco friendliness is visible in the production as e.g. closed water circulation, heat capturing, using bio gas and recycling one's own waste. For example the office papers are being reused in our own production.

We can then be considered as the domestic pioneers in ecological packaging.

Ecopulp offers solutions for the needs of environmentally conscious customers with the least possible burden on the environment, cost-effective packaging, forestry, gardening and other similar functions. Ecopulp as a domestic operator minimizes the environmental impact in its own production by recovering energy, with an optimization program related to the procurement of raw materials and closed water circulation. In practice, for example, no waste water is being produced to be discharged into the sewer at all. The only water that escapes is in the form of steam when leaving the drying section. The recovery of drying energy is also maximized.
